Job Description:
MEMCO is seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger with NCCCO Level 1/ NCCER Riggers certification to join our team at Port Isabel, TX. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently rigging and lifting operations in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rigging and lifting tasks in a variety of industrial settings.
- Operate cranes and hoisting equipment to move and position heavy loads.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all rigging activities.
- Conduct equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines for efficient task completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve rigging-related issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- NCCCO Level 1/ NCCER certification in Rigging.
- Proven experience as a Rigger in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of various rigging techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and guidelines for rigging operations.
- Ability to interpret and follow project specifications and blueprints.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- NCCCO Level 1/ NCCER Rigging certification.
- Previous experience in industrial rigging roles.
