Roofing Technician

Location: Rio Grande Valley, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time | Hourly

Job Overview:

MEMCO is currently hiring Roofing Technicians to join our field team in the Rio Grande Valley area. The ideal candidate will assist with general roofing installation tasks and support project needs safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on roofing installation and job site support
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials as needed
• Follow all safety guidelines and promote safe work practices
• Work both independently and with team members to meet project deadlines
• Support and train new crew members as skills progress
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license required
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to work at heights and elevated surfaces
• Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including overtime when required
• Must pass a physical "fit for duty" exam (climbing, bending, squatting, lifting, etc.)
• Reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites
• Interest in long-term, full-time employment with opportunity for growth

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, particularly in roofing or waterproofing
• English required; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• High school diploma or GED encouraged but not mandatory
