Memco is seeking a skilled Bilingual Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Bilingual Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment. Serve as primary contact to communicate repair needs and maintenance procedures in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance on Diesel vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, and other components.
3. Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
4. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
5. Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets safety standards.
6. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work and prioritize tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Certification from a technical school or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
