Dozer Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bulldozer Operator with strong expertise in fine grading to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating bulldozers for precision grading tasks on commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Accuracy, safety, and efficiency are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate bulldozers to perform fine grading and finish work to exact specifications.
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to achieve required elevations and slopes.
• Collaborate with surveyors, foremen, and site supervisors to maintain proper grade and drainage.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment checks and routine maintenance.
• Work efficiently on tight tolerances, ensuring a smooth and even final grade.
• Safely maneuver equipment in high-traffic and confined areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company and OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating bulldozers, with a focus on fine grading.
• Strong knowledge of grade control systems (e.g., Trimble, Topcon, or Leica GPS systems).
• Ability to understand and execute grading plans accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on roadwork, utilities, foundations, or landscaping projects.
• Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment troubleshooting.
• Team player with excellent communication and time management skills.
