Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Paving Machine Operator to support our highway paving project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating asphalt pavers and a strong understanding of laying hot mix asphalt (HMA) in line with TXDOT standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate paving machine with precision to ensure consistent mat thickness and alignment
• Perform daily equipment checks and assist with basic maintenance
• Communicate with crew to adjust speed, flow, and grade
• Support safety protocols and quality control efforts on-site

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience operating asphalt paving machinery
• Knowledge of equipment operation and surface control
• Strong coordination and spatial awareness

• Clean background
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
