Job Title: Drywall Hanger (Commercial & Residential)

Location: Brownsville to McAllen, TX (Projects throughout the Rio Grande Valley)

Overview:

MEMCO Staffing is currently hiring skilled Drywall Hangers with experience in both commercial and residential construction. This position involves traveling to various job sites between Brownsville and McAllen, TX. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in quality craftsmanship and can perform under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, mark, cut, and hang drywall panels to wood and metal framing structures.
• Install drywall with precision around mechanical openings, doors, windows, and fixtures.
• Secure drywall using appropriate fasteners including nails, screws, and adhesives.
• Apply corner beads and joint tape to prep for finishing work.
• Ensure walls and ceilings are level, plumb, and properly aligned.
• Read and interpret construction drawings or blueprints.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and comply with safety protocols.
• Coordinate effectively with crew members and site supervisors to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of drywall hanging experience in both commercial and residential environments.
• Familiarity with proper installation techniques and materials.
• Must have own basic tools and reliable transportation to travel from Brownsville to McAllen as needed.
• Must be dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to lift heavy sheets of drywall and work on ladders or scaffolding.
