Working Hours: Monday- Friday; 7 AM-4 PM
Our client, a leading provider in the construction materials industry, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales - Counter professional. This role involves managing front counter sales, processing orders, maintaining customer relationships, and coordinating product deliveries. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and supporting overall branch performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing front counter sales transactions.
 - Accurately input customer orders, pricing, and data into the system.
 - Assist walk-in customers with product selection and order processing.
 - Coordinate product deliveries and maintain effective communication with the operations team.
 - Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
 - Collaborate with the Outside Sales Representatives to maximize sales opportunities.
 - Maintain stock levels and ensure product availability in the sales area.
 - Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance sales.
 - Conduct product research to provide accurate information to customers.
 - Manage cash register operations and balance daily transactions.
 - Participate in monthly and annual inventory counts as required.
 - Support company values in areas of safety, customer service, teamwork, and integrity.
 - Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 - Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly preferred.
 - Proficient in computer systems and order processing software.
 - Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
 - Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
 - Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical after a conditional offer of employment.
