MEMCO SER is looking for EXPERIENCED welders to work in Hempstead TX ASAP!
We are currently hiring two experienced 6G welders certified to ASME B31.1 standards for Stick (SMAW) welding on carbon steel. Candidates must have experience welding in position from a boom lift.
Responsibilities:
Perform 6G position welds on carbon steel pipe per ASME B31.1 requirements
Safely weld while operating on a boom lift or elevated platform
Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and specifications
Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to all safety guidelines
Work collaboratively with other welders and foremen to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience welding in position from a boom lift
Ability to pass a weld test prior to start
OSHA 10 (preferred)
Reliable transportation, PPE, and strong work ethic
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (overtime as needed)
