About the Position:
We are seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heavy construction and industrial equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and forklifts.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
Replace or repair defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and undercarriages.
Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
Operate equipment to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
Follow all company and safety policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic (construction, mining, or industrial).
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Must have own basic tools; specialized tools provided by the company.
