Job Overview:
MEMCO is seeking an experienced Drywall Foremen to lead commercial projects in Nashville. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in drywall hanging, finishing, metal framing, acoustic ceilings and retail rough-ins, along with strong leadership skills.
Job Duties:
- Lead and supervise drywall crews on commercial job sites
- Interpret blueprints and perform layout for walls, ceilings and partitions
- Oversee drywall installation, metal framing, finishing, and retail rough-ins
- Ensure work meets quality standards, deadlines, and safety requirements
- Train and mentor crew members, providing guidance on best practices
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
Requirements:
- MUST have a minimum of 3 yrs of commercial drywall experience.
- MUST have own transportation to and from job sites
- MUST pass pre-employment drug screen
- Full set of drywall and framing tools
- Experience with acoustic ceiling systems and retail rough-ins
- Proven leadership and crew management skills
- Commitment to safety on job sites
