Position Overview:
MEMCO Pasadena is urgently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Concrete Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform field testing of concrete and related materials, ensure compliance with project specifications, and maintain accurate documentation of test results..
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site concrete testing, including slump, air content, temperature, and cylinder casting
- Document and report test results in accordance with project and industry standards
- Communicate effectively with contractors, project managers, and inspection personnel
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures
- Perform routine lab tasks and follow safety protocols
- Ensure that lab equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
Requirements:
- 1yr of recent experience.
- ACI Field grade 1 certification
- TWIC card preferred (or ability to obtain one)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Drivers license required
