Position Overview

MEMCO Harlingen is seeking an experienced Crane Operator for a long-term infrastructure project along the Texas border. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating a Telescopic Boom Crane – Swing Cab (TLL) and hold a valid NCCCO Certification. This role offers steady weekly hours, consistent overtime, and strong long-term job stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Telescopic Boom (TLL) cranes safely and efficiently on active construction sites.
• Perform daily crane inspections and maintain accurate equipment and safety logs.
• Safely lift, load, move, and position materials as directed by project supervision.
• Follow all OSHA, site-specific safety standards, and crane operation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with riggers, signal persons, and field leadership to ensure safe operations.
• Participate in required safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.

Requirements

• NCCCO Certification – Telescopic Boom Crane (TLL) required.
• 3+ years of crane operating experience in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to work 6 days per week, including regular overtime.
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Strong safety awareness, focus, and communication skills.
