Welding and Metal Fabrication

Seeking Skilled Metal Fabricators in Machine Operating, Welding, and Finishing - pay up to 27/hr. - various shifts available

Summary:

The Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating parts from drawings and specifications using a variety of tools and equipment. The Fabricator will also be responsible for performing quality control inspections on parts, as well as performing quality inspections on all parts. The Fabricator will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining documentation of work performed, including but not limited to: work orders, production notes, and product quality assessments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and understand customer drawings and specifications.

• Use of various types of hand tools to fabricate parts from drawings.

• Use of various types of machine tools to assemble products from production drawings.

• Use of various types of hand tools to prepare product for shipment to customers.

• Perform quality inspections on all products.

• Prepare and maintain documentation of work performed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

• Machine Operation

• Familiarity with various types of machine tools

• Ability to read and understand blueprints or specifications.

• Welding

• Ability to read blueprints or drawings.

• Ability to perform basic machining operations.

• Ability to read shop drawings or production notes.
