Description: Midwest Staffing is looking for a Quality In-Process Inspector to ensure that all parts meet customer blueprint specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret customer blueprints.

• Inspect each part against blueprint specifications.

• Record inspection data onto the data collection document.

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure parts meet tolerance throughout the production run.

• Adhere to AS and ISO standards.

• Act as a forward-thinking change agent to help advance the company.

• Conduct in-process inspections on the production floor and adapt to other inspection areas as needed.

• Stop production if parts are nonconforming, prioritizing quality.

• Work closely with the Quality Manager and Director of Quality; participate in cross-departmental training.

• Communicate effectively with the production team.

Qualifications:

Basic:

• Proficient in using inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).

• Basic knowledge of ISO or AS standards.

• Blueprint reading certificate or 5 years of related experience/training, or equivalent in stamping or fabricating.

Preferred:

• Experience in metal stamping.

• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

• Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 13485 standards.

• Experience with MRP systems and data collection.
