Job description

Midwest Staffing Group is currently hiring multiple team members for our growing Soldering and Assembly department in Burnsville. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday – 1st Shift 7am-3pm

Duties:

• Perform precision hand soldering under a microscope as needed for small components

• Inspect and test solder joints to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610)

• Assemble and wire sensors and related components, following schematics and assembly instructions

• Rework or repair soldered connections on defective boards or assemblies

• Operate soldering tools, heat guns, and desoldering equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain clean and organized workstations and properly handle ESD-sensitive components

•  

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check, E-Verify, and drug screening

• Strong reading and writing skills for effective communication

• Ability to think critically and solve problems on the job

• Experience with hand tools and power tools is required

• Prior soldering experience is essential
