Summary/objective
Commercial Audiovisual Service Technicians are responsible for care and maintenance, break/fix troubleshooting and equipment repair/replace for commercial audiovisual systems. Systems include videoconferencing technologies, videowall & display presentation, large integration systems, and event space audiovisual systems.
Essential functions
Perform ImmediaCare preventative maintenance scheduled appointments per contract specified cadence.
Reviews service cases prior to scheduled appointments ensuring preparedness, high quality work and case completion is successful.
Maintain effective notes on all diagnostic work and issue resolutions.
Enter status/summary reports on all assigned cases daily.
Manage case specific equipment returns and/or repairs as needed.
For defective/broken product, call manufacturer for RMA and return item with RMA form to warehouse.
Maintain stock parts and tools in service vehicle.
Schedule maintenance/service and maintain cleanliness of Immedia provided service vehicle.
Adheres to Installation Standards, report infractions to CET Coordinator.

Work environment: Works in the field going to various client/customer sites
Physical demands: Bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
Travel required: Local 90% of the time, out of state 10% of the time
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 1 year experience in audiovisual installation or support.
Experience interfacing with customers.
Strong technical aptitude.
Work experience in signal flow and wiring techniques, including cable terminations.
Must have a current DPS fingerprint card.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Preferred education and experience
AVIXA CTS Certification, Crestron Certification Tracks
Biamp Certification, Q-SYS Certification
