Job description

The Onsite Supervisor is responsible for HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with client facility management and participating in multiple Operational functions such as employee relations, safety, training, record keeping, performance management, policy implementation, and communication in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with our client day to day.

This opportunity is based in Austin, TX

Starting at $17.00/hr

JOB DUTIES:

  • Hiring and placement of temporary staff in a manufacturing facility in alignment to production needs

  • Perform all tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to time sheet management; personnel policies; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

  • Lead employee discipline, terminations, and investigations.

  • Maintain compliance with client HR and Operations team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 6 months to 1 year experience in an HR Coordinator or Onsite Supervisor position.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is strongly desired.

  • Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, can communicate, read, and write in both languages preferred

  • Ability to multitask and to be a self-starter. Must have a strong sense of urgency

  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
