Job Summary: IT Support Specialist – Temporary Position for 3+ months:

Logistics Company is looking for a hands-on IT support specialist to install, configure, and support all end user devices that are used to perform large-scale warehouse operations – from desktops and printers to scanners, tablets, and even wireless access points. The successful candidate will enjoy being the go-to person for all IT support needs and will seek understanding of warehouse operations to drive productivity, efficiency, and highly available IT systems and tools.

Responsibilities: IT Support Specialist – Temporary Position for 3+ months:

• Install workstation setups that include specific IT equipment such as a desktop (Linux/Windows OS), monitor, laser printer, thermal label printer, mouse, keyboard, and scanner

• Configure and administer software for end users such as communication, warehouse management, project management, and shipping software and device firmware

• Create and maintain thorough documentation of all IT support objectives, specifics, and requirements, establish processes and procedures for procurement of IT component inventory

• Operate out of and suggest improvements for ticketing systems and processes

• Replace components in printers and other specialized IT equipment

• Be first line contact for all local IT support issues and support remote warehouses through ticketing system and other communication channels

Experience: IT Support Specialist – Temporary Position for 3+ months:

• 2+ years IT support experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field)

• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex projects to meet time, quality and budget requirements

• Nice to have:

• Experience supporting IT operations in a large-scale facility/warehouse

• Software development/SaaS customer support experience

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
