Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Mechanics for a manufacturing and packaging warehouse located in Kennesaw!

Qualifications for Mechanics:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must have 5 or more years of prior maintenance and/or automotive experience.

• Must be able to operate a sit down forklift.

• Must have great attention to detail.

• Must have experience with manufacturing.

• Knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations is a plus.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Mechanic:

• Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, and pumps.

• Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, sensors, pushbuttons, contractors, motor starters, etc. as needed.

• Perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments.

• Set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools, and other metal working equipment.

• Fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment.

• Ensure operation of electrical systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on conveyors, programmable controllers, transformers, voltage regulators, and machinery wiring while following electrical code, manual, diagrams, and other specifications.

• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment breakdowns.

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical blueprints, OEM schematics, service manuals, and machine setups.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 5:30AM-2:30PM

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
