Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Technician for an Industrial Paper Mill located in Lithonia!

Qualifications for Facilities Maintenance Technicians:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must have some previous manufacturing background and maintenance experience.

• Food mechanical background and ability/knowledge to use a wide range of hand and power tools.

• Must know and understand facility technician responsibilities.

• Must have a good understanding of how commercial building are constructed and how electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems are incorporated.

• Experience in how electrical systems are distributed and how they support the production and office circuits.

• Able to troubleshoot equipment issues and make recommendations for repair.

• Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs.

• Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Facilities Maintenance Technicians:

• Maintenance and repair of interior and exterior building/property.

• General maintenance which may include, but is not limited to, painting, drywall, lighting, pressure washing, or weather maintenance.

• Maintain cleanliness of the building.

• Monthly inspections of equipment in building.

• Communicate and coordinate with outside vendors.

• Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and follows equipment and site procedures.

• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details: 1^st Shift – Call for more information

Pay Rate: $22.71/hour
