Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for a distributing warehouse located in Duluth!

Qualifications for Maintenance Technicians:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 4-10 years of relevant knowledge/experience.

• Previous fabrication, MIG and TIG welding, and electrical experience is required.

• Ability to operate machines, hand-tools, and electrical equipment.

• Possesses an operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.

• Strong problem-solving skills with practical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.

• Possesses basic troubleshooting experience and proven skills in machine repair.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Maintenance Technicians:

• Ensures reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventative maintenance on machinery and systems.

• Perform tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.

• Read and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine change in dimensional requirements of paths.

• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hand and power tools.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details: 1^st Shift – Call for more information

Pay Rate: $31.95/hour
