Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Mechanics for a manufacturing warehouse located in Marietta!

Qualifications for Mechanics:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must be able to lift 60-70 lbs.

• Must have some form of MOP/Warehouse experience.

• Must be used to a warehouse environment.

• Demonstrates ability to operate machines, hand tools, and electrical equipment.

• Possesses an operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery and hydraulic systems.

• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with practical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.

• Possesses basic troubleshoots experience and proven skills in machine repair.

• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.

• Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

• Keep attention to detail.

• Be able to communicate with a basic understanding of work instructions in English and Spanish.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Mechanics:

• Responsible for assigned production line to inspect and issues that come up during shift from operators.

• Maintain part and tool inventory..

• Machine setup and adjustment of setting for thickness, bond, and width.

• Update and turn in reports.

• Troubleshoot machine issues, maintenance, and minor repairs.

• Perform preventive maintenance on forklift.

• Perform full repairs and assist in rebuilds when necessary.

Shift Details: 6:00AM-6:00PM (*Call for more information)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
