Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Machine Operators for a company located in Atlanta!

Qualifications for Machine Operators:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Familiarity with Assemble on MG-1R Flexible Placement Machine, MPM AccuFlex Screen Printer, Heller 1707 MK III Reflow Oven and PVA Conformal Coating Machine would be a definite plus.

• Be capable to identify different electronic component types, including value and polarity.

• Be capable to obtain certifications in soldering. Having current certification is preferred.

• One-year minimum experience in electronics manufacturing environment.

• Able to stand, lift, bend, twist, reach and follow instructions provided by supervisor.

• Have attention to detail, ability to work well with others.

• Experience with improving SMT manufacturing process steps.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Machine Operators:

• Operate and help maintain Pick & Place equipment, Reflow Ovens, Screen Printers, Solder Paste Inspection equipment.

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on all SMT equipment.

• Perform setup / change over procedures on equipment to ready for the next job.

• Evaluate product for quality during manufacturing and take appropriate actions to resolve issues and improve quality of existing products.

• Ensure product is produced according to developed procedures.

• Work with engineering on new product introductions, reporting any issues that negatively impact SMT or Conformal Coating process.

• Perform necessary programming adjustments and troubleshooting on machinery and computers.

• Inspect assemblies to ensure proper component placement and coating coverage.

• Perform manual touch-up on areas the coating machine may have missed to ensure boards maintain a consistent high quality.

• Machine maintenance, which includes, changing the fluids and mixers and cleaning machines to ensure proper and efficient operation.

• Perform general housekeeping duties to sustain a safe and clean working environment at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to accommodate fluctuations in business.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 6:00AM-2:30PM

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
