Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Pay: $19.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift

 

 

Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire an Inventory Clerk for a clothing distribution warehouse located in Palmetto!

 

Qualifications for Inventory Clerks:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of shipping routing experience is preferred.

  • Distribution background is a plus.

  • 4 year degree is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Windows (Excel and Outlook).

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

 

Assignment Duties for Inventory Clerks:

  • Schedules all outbound shipments based on customer routing requirements and carrier appointment schedules.

  • Coordinates with customers’ logistics departments and carriers to confirm that adequate equipment is on site.

  • Prepares outbound paperwork ensuring it is complete and accurate.

  • Maintains orderly files and shipping records for all outbound shipments.

  • Researches, pulls, and communicates requests for shipping documentation.

  • Uses PKMS Warehouse Management System for shipment data to build loads, track/update shipment information, and research issues.

  • Uses Microsoft Outlook email for communications.

  • Communication with shipping dock management team regarding specific customer or carrier issues.

  • Prepares commercial invoices for international shipping.

  • Collaborates regarding customer chargebacks with deductions/claims and merchandise coordinators.

  • The ability to work with detailed information, analyzes data, and makes proper decisions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 7:00AM-3:00PM

 

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
