Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire an Accountant for a company located in Norcross!

Qualifications for Accountant:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

• 5+ years’ experience in accounting or related role with strong knowledge of accounting principles.

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.

• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Excel, Words, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Excellent communication skills.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Accountant:

• Will be involved with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as well as balance sheet transactions, preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits.

• Independent process of month, quarter, and annual closing, preparation of financial statements, and tax reporting.

• Independent process, post, and reconciliation of AP and AR, P/R, G/L accounts, and capital assets.

• Compile and analyze financial statements, including cast forecasting, treasury, and budgeting.

• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 8:00AM-5:00PM

Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
