  • Position Overview

PSS is seeking Field Service Engineers with experience on Lam / Novellus 200/300mm Vector tool sets for installation and sustaining activities that include mechanical builds, startup, retrofits and upgrades. Skills can be concentrated in one or more of each of these toolsets

 

 

  • Core Job Responsibilities

    • Perform equipment installations and start-ups.

    • Perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance.

    • Perform equipment conversions and upgrades.

    • Perform shift sustaining activities.

  • Position Requirements

    • Ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes and other specialized equipment.

    • Ability to lift, pull, push objects weighing up to 50lbs.

    • Ability to work in cleanroom attire and sit or stand for prolonged period of time.

    • Ability to travel nationally as well as internationally

    • Valid passport - or ability to obtain a valid passport.

    • OEM certification a plus but not required.

    • Basic MS Windows and MS office computer skills.

    • Flexibility to work various shifts (8-12 hours), overtime, stand-by, on-call, holidays, etc., when required.

 

    • Work Experience

  • Must be proficient in all job responsibilities and service requirements for Lam/Novellus tools sets.

  • 2+ years’ experience required supporting Vector, Sabre or Speed equipment for installs, decommissions and sustaining activities.

  • Time and Project management skills highly desirable.

  • Time flexibility supporting a major LAM customer or OEM operation is highly desirable

 

    • Education

  • Minimum education requirements = AS degree in an engineering discipline. A BS degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable (related engineering discipline is electronics, electrical, mechanical, chemical).

  • Military education combined with related experience may be substituted for academic education.
