Field Service Engineer - Applied Materials - Israel

Field Service Engineers are needed on the following tools:

  • 300mm AMAT Endura PVD (P4 / CGA)

  • 300mm AMAT Centura EPI (ACP-EPI)

  • 300mm AMAT Centura HDP ((AP/4.0)

  • 300mm AMAT Vantage RTP

  • 300mm AMAT Producer GT CVD

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment installations and start-ups.

  • Perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance.

  • Perform equipment conversions and upgrades.

  • Perform shift sustaining activities.

Position Requirements

  • Ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes and other specialized equipment.

  • Ability to lift, pull, push objects weighing up to 50lbs.

  • Ability to work in cleanroom attire and sit or stand for prolonged period of time.

  • Ability to travel nationally as well as internationally

  • Valid passport - or ability to obtain a valid passport.

  • OEM certification a plus but not required.

  • Basic MS Windows and MS office computer skills.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts (8-12 hours), overtime, stand-by, on-call, holidays, etc., when required.

Work Experience

  • Must be proficient in all job responsibilities and service requirements for Applied Materials tools sets.

  • 4+ years’ experience required supporting Applied Materials equipment for installs, decommissions and sustaining activities.


  • Minimum education requirements = AS degree in an engineering discipline. A BS degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable (related engineering discipline is electronics, electrical, mechanical, chemical).

  • Military education combined with related experience may be substituted for academic education.
