What We Offer For Our Medical Assistant Position:
Competitive Starting Salary: $20/hr based on experience.
Location: Centrally located in the vibrant community of Pasadena, CA.
Work Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, one week of vacation after one year, one week of sick leave annually, and a 401(k) Plan eligibility after one year.
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
Warmly greet patients and guide them to examination rooms.
Conduct patient preparations for examination, record vital signs, and update medical histories.
Administer vaccinations and injections, focusing on pediatric care.
Assist physicians during medical procedures.
Ensure the accuracy and privacy of patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
Maintain cleanliness and organization within examination rooms.
Manage the inventory and restocking of exam room supplies.
Assist in the front office as needed, with phones, checking in patients, etc.
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
Formal Medical Assistant certification or equivalent education.
At least two years of relevant Medical Assisting experience.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are required.
Proven experience with pediatric vaccinations.
Compliance with all current COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
