Our client, a local non-profit, is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant. This role will provide administrative and clerical support to the Chief Executive Officer as well as other administrative functions to support our nonprofit organization. This professional role interfaces with board members, staff, potential doners, volunteers and vendors. Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and computer skills as well as the knowing the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists CEO with executive board

  • Assists in the coordination of all meeting and events

  • Schedules meetings and events and assists setting up interviews

  • Drafts letters, emails or other correspondence

  • Prepares materials for meetings, off sites, training and special events

  • Proofreads written or printed materials

  • Sets up and maintains filing systems, records, and reports

  • Support for payroll, timekeeping, HR and recruiting functions

  • Screens and answers telephone calls for CEO

  • Prioritizes tasks in order to meet deadlines

  • Efficient at prioritizing work and multi-tasking

  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidate will have the ability to work with diverse people and personalities. Additionally, must be equipped to manage confidential and sensitive information. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software is essential as is computer graphic art skills. Knowledge of light accounting and payroll practices helpful.

 

 

Part-time

Pay: $22-25/hr
