Are you looking for a chance to work in a creative, fast-paced environment where every unique project keeps things interesting? We are looking for an experienced carpenter to take a lead role in carpentry projects by executing designs from initial layout to completion and staying on track with the project calendar. Scope of work will include high-end carpentry projects, such as unique wainscoting techniques, massive media buildouts, accent walls, cabinetry built-ins, custom creations, molding, trim work, ceiling details and more! Will be expected to work in a team environment, mentoring Carpentry Assistants but also have the skill set to work independently, if needed. Required to manage multiple jobs within a project, hold a high-level of quality expectation with a sharp sense of building construction. Will report directly to owner. Primary Responsibilities: Take measurements and make precision cuts. Provide framing and other construction projects onsite. Carry out a structural design plan. Design and install fitted wooden shelves, cabinets, and drywall. Complete finish carpentry work including trim, caulking, sanding, painting. Engage with customers in a professional manner. Essential Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience in this type of job role. Requisite knowledge of tools, equipment, materials common to the trade. Hardworking, fast-paced, and driven to meet deadlines. Demonstrate knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Willing to be flexible and work as part of a team. Positive, friendly and approachable. Understands that the customer is the #1 responsibility. Excellent attention to detail. Demonstrate time management and project management skills. Use of personal tools. Active driving license. Requirements: High school diploma or GED certificate as well as 5+ years of both construction and carpentry experience. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with and train Assistant Carpenters. Strong mechanical ability, numeric skills, accuracy, stamina, customer service orientation, time management, collaboration, communication, positive attitude, and accountability. Creative minds are encouraged. Physical requirements include bending, climbing scaffolding, working above head and lifting at least 50 pounds throughout your shift. Usual hours will be from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional opportunities for overtime. Paid vacation provided after 12 months of employment. Tools and Equipment Required to use personal tools.
