Production Worker

Stocking production floor: 1. Place machines, belts, and dryers in specified location for setup by technicians 2. Receive purchase order from the technician 3. Retrieve parts, cells, foam, boxes, lids and any other necessary items from warehouse personnel 4. Bring a skid from warehouse to the production floor using a pallet jack or hand cart 5. Place items in the area designated by the supervisor 6. Assemble and arrange the required items so that they are easily reached by the production worker or machine operator 7. Take full boxes from the finished area and place them on a skid or hand cart 8. Label the boxes with the labels provided by the technician for the job 9. Place the finished and labeled boxes in the warehouse in the location designated by the warehouse manager 10. Keep an accurate count of the number of boxes taken to the warehouse At the end of the shift: 1. Notify technician of the number of boxes completed during the shift 2. Record any scrap that was made during the shift and dispose of the scrap in the appropriate recycling bins 3. Sweep and mop the floors At the end of a production run: 1. Remove any unused materials (parts, cells, foam, boxes, lids and any other necessary items) and return them to the warehouse 2. Notify warehouse of any returned materials so that they can be reentered into inventory 3. Clean area Keep work area clean throughout shift Buff the floors and clean the machines
