Compensation & Schedule:
This full-time, salaried position offers $70,000 annually with a consistent second shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
What You’ll Do as a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor:
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will oversee a team of nearly 25 employees, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You’ll manage daily schedules, train new hires, enforce 5S practices, and take swift action to address quality or tooling concerns.
You’ll also collaborate with Maintenance and Quality teams, ensure compliance with IATF 16949:2016 standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Leadership, problem-solving, and communication are key in this role, as is the ability to escalate issues when necessary to ensure shift success.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal 2nd Shift Production Supervisor brings strong manufacturing leadership experience, thrives in a structured yet fast-paced setting, and is comfortable managing large teams. You should be confident using ERP systems (SAP is a plus), analyzing production data, and reading blueprints and measurements.
Qualifications Include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Lean Green Belt Certification (or earned within 2 years)
Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, etc.)
Experience with measurement tools and blueprint reading
Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading by example
