What You’ll Do as a Process Engineer:
The Process Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and works closely with cross-functional teams to develop and refine manufacturing processes. You’ll lead new product/process launches, implement DOE testing, and ensure manufacturing lines reach 85% OEE within 30 days of SOP. You’ll direct capital equipment acquisition, analyze product feasibility, calculate cost estimates, and support APQP documentation for production release.
You’ll also oversee prototype development, manage process documentation (routing, work instructions, QA specs), support cost-reduction initiatives, and train teams on new equipment and procedures. Occasional travel to vendors or customer sites is required.
What You Bring to the Table:
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
Proven experience in stamping and manufacturing process development
Familiarity with ISO/TS16949, IATF standards, and APQP tools
Exposure to Toyota Production Systems (TPS), Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working across departments
Willingness to pursue Six Sigma Green Belt certification and participate in Lean (GROWTTH) programs
