Machine Operator Details:
Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00 pm-10:00 pm Mandatory OT on Saturdays DOUBLE TIME PAY through January!
Days: Monday-Friday
Wage: $18.50 per hour
Location: Sparta,WI 54656
Machine Operator Duties and Requirements:
- Individuals must possess the ability to adapt to changes in priorities daily, good mechanical abilities and manual dexterity, good verbal communication skills, ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be able to perform arithmetic calculations (fractions, decimals, percentages)
- Operates CNC machines to produce quality parts for the Company according to established Company procedure
- Correctly loads and unloads machines
- Performs quality checks of finished, milled products, using calipers to ensure proper dimensional requirements
- Performs quality checks of finished, milled products, using calipers to ensure proper dimensional requirements
- Buffs and de-burrs parts and plates
- May operate a forklift
- Utilizes air and hand ratchets, files, functional gauges, de-burring knives, CNC machines, hand mills, band saws, and manual lathes
- Work is performed in a production environment with routine exposure to dirt, noise, chemicals, and solvents.
- Regular exposure to repetitive motions and tasks
- Other duties as assigned
