Shift Details:
- 12-hour day rotation (6 PM – 6 AM), Wed/Thur & E/O Fri-Sun
- Wage: $20/hr + $1/hr night shift premium + $1/hr weekend premium
- Location: Chaseburg, WI
Summary of Role:
The Intake Specialist is responsible for receiving and loading raw milk and cream, conducting laboratory testing, and ensuring equipment cleanliness. This safety-sensitive role is vital to the Creamery's year-round operations, including holidays.
Duties and Requirements:
- Perform and record raw milk laboratory tests
- Seal/unseal trucks and verify wash tags
- Receive/load raw milk and operate CIP system
- Scan and file receiving paperwork
- Follow manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance policies
- Work with HTST personnel for proper RAW silo rotations
- Operate cream steamer and complete sanitation tasks
- Record data and maintain chart recorders
- Email daily shift reports and fluid inventory
- Assist with plant cleaning and property maintenance
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Availability for 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to obtain certification on the Charm Phosphates Test Method
- Read and comprehend standard operating procedures
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull objects up to 75 pounds
- Climb truck manways and work at heights with appropriate PPE
- Interpret and understand results of official samples
- Work safely with sanitation and lab chemicals using appropriate PPE
- Effective collaborative and communication skills
- Basic math skills and understanding of machine operations
- Basic computer skills are required
