JOB DESCRIPTION:

Preparing and shipping outgoing shipments: Packing containers, affixing shipping labels, and verifying that shipments meet specifications

Receiving incoming shipments: Ensuring that incoming shipments are handled properly and distributed within the company

Managing inventory: Organizing inventory for easy retrieval, scanning inventory, and counting accurately

Tracking shipments: Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of outgoing shipments

Collaborating with others: Working with logistics, warehousing, and floor managers, as well as customer service representatives and service providers

Documenting: Maintaining a log sheet of daily moves, documenting damages to inventory, and compiling reports for senior management
