The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience within the past 3 years. Candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background and drug screen. Reliable transportation is a must have.
Summary: This position is responsible for reviewing merchandise as it is received into the distribution center and deciding the best possible location for the merchandise for picking purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Review the merchandise and its packaging.
Look up the configuration of that merchandise based on the packaging.
Make a qualified decision as to where the merchandise should be located.
Set up the location appropriately for the sku of the merchandise as well as setting the proper parameters for picking and replenishment.
Review and update all locations for problems due to no more inventory, low inventory, or picking challenges.
Cycle counting locations, making system moves, and exiting merchandise from locations to keep the system updated.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong word and excel skills.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Basic understanding of Warehouse Management System.
Basic understanding of flow of goods from Receiving to Shipping.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
