Job Summary The Repack Associate is responsible for transforming Work in Progress (WIP) into customer specified finished good configuration. This is done through a manual process of unpacking and repacking product. Essential Functions • Follow all PBC safety and quality policies and report any issues to Leads or Managers • Wrap and unwrap pallets of finished good • Conduct housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of workstation and all areas of the warehouse. • Remain in a station which rotates throughout the entire shift unless otherwise instructed by Lead, Supervisor or Manager Skills & Abilities • Adaptability - the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment • Reliability - demonstrates commitment by maintaining a consistent and dependable work schedule. • Continuous Learning - continually seeking new knowledge and skills, as well as developing existing capabilities. • Teamwork – balances team and individual responsibilities to ensure team goals are met Qualification • High School Diploma or equivalent is required • 3 – 6 months of experience working in a team environment Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and temperatures will fluctuate from hot to cold depending on outside temperatures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, balance, twist, stoop kneel and reach with hands/arms. Frequently lifts 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Occasionally walks, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within office building.
