POSITION – Machine Operator
JOB LOCATION – Osseo, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Long-Term, Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st shift (4:40am-4:45pm, Mon-Thurs), 2nd shift (4:40pm-4:45am, Mon-Thurs)
STARTING PAY – $16-$17/hour
BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
While working as a Machine Operator in a Food Production setting you will be following Good Manfuacturing Practices (GMP's). You may be operating a scale, mixer, batch maker, ovens and more in addition to helping with packaging, inspection, shipping, cleaning and more.
Responsibilities:
•Produce product according to established Company procedures on a daily basis.
•Communicate to lead person any discrepancies with product.
•Meet all production standards set by Quality Assurance.
•Understand and follow all established safety procedures, and uses required PPE to reduce/prevent injury to self and others.
•Keeps current and complies with OSHA regulations affecting operations.
•Assists in weekly sanitation of plant equipment and work area.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
•Be able to stand your entire shift.
•Ability to adapt to change in priorities on a daily basis.
•Ability to solve practical problems.
•Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
•Good verbal communication skills.
•Ability to pay attention to detail.
•Must be able to perform basic math
