Engineering/ Production Technician

 

Have you worked in the electronics field? Do you like working with your hands and have experience with Schematics and soldering skills? This individual is responsible for building and testing products during the Engineering development process. Some of this position requires supporting project management and documentation management for active and archived projects.

 

 

POSITION – Engineering/ Production Technician

JOB LOCATION – Lomira, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp or Temp to Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time or Contract

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (8:00am – 4:30pm)

STARTING PAY – $20+ per hour based on experience

BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus (through SEEK)

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 12 months experience

 

Job duties:

- Able to build proto-type and production product using Bill of Material (BOM) and work instructions.

- Able to test these proto-type and production products using PTI test procedures.

- Have a working knowledge of electronics,

- Be able to read and follow schematics, interpret wiring diagrams,

- Follow written test procedures, trouble-shoot and repair assembled units and PC Boards to the component level.

- Proficient at testing units and board level components in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) s.

- Needs to have working knowledge of test equipment such as power supplies, digital multimeters, analog multimeters, oscilloscopes and signal generators.

- Digital electronics and knowledge of DC and AC circuits is required.

 

Minimum requirements

- Associate degree in technical field preferred

- Knowledge of basic electronics theory and AC and DC principles

- Minimum 5 years hands on manufacturing experience preferred or Equivalent experience

- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance required

- Good soldering skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

 

Abilities required:

- Learn AS9100D Quality System

- Learn Soldering

- Learn Knowledge of ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) policy and procedures
