DIRECT HIRE – INSPECTOR/CMM Programmer

POSITION – Inspector

JOB LOCATION – Sussex, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediate, 9/16/2022

EMPLOYMENT TERM – DIRECT HIRE

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday

STARTING PAY – $25+/HR

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE –

• At least five (5) years experience in a quality control and inspection function

• At least five (5) years formal education in quality control and inspection techniques, or

• Certified Mechanical Inspector status

• At least five (5) years experience programming and operating CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines

Responsibilities

1. Compute angles, radii, and other unspecified dimensions of workpiece, using algebra, geometry, and trigonometry

2. Read blueprints and determine inspection methods

3. Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

4. Measure angular dimensions, radii, contours, clearance, thread lead, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometer, gauge blocks, dial indicators, height gauge, level protractors, and optical comparators

5. Program, operate, maintain, manage files, and administer CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines

6. Examine defective parts to determine cause of defect and recommend changes or modifications

7. Administer inspection calibration and recall program

Qualifications

1. At least five (5) years experience in a quality control and inspection function

2. At least two (2) years formal education in quality control and inspection techniques, or

3. Certified Mechanical Inspector status

4. At least five (5) years experience programming and operating CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines
