Position – Industrial Sewer
Job Location – Muskego, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time, Contract
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm)
Starting Pay – 17.50

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – Sewing experience preferred
As an industrial sewer, you will operate single and double needle sewing machines to layout and sew vinyland various industrial fabrics.
Responsibilities

Select proper parts for production operation and lace parts in proper location and direction

Perform closing operations such as inserting fiberglass stays. Operate grommet machine to insert grommet into materials.

Place finished orders in proper storage rack location and mark schedule on job card

Operate punching machine to punch holes, changing punch as needed to accommodate different hole sizes

Follow all safety and work rules and maintain workplace order and cleanliness.
Qualifications

Sewing experience preferred

Requires the ability to operate an industrial sewing machine and grommet machine.

Requires the ability to operate a variety of hand tools such as a tin snips, glue gun, vice grips, and utility knife
-
Can lift up to 25 lbs
