Extrusion Operator

Position – Extrusion Operator
Job Location – Osceola, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Monday – Friday)
Training – May train on 1st shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) for 4–6 weeks
Starting Pay – $19.00–$21.00 per hour
Required Education – High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience – Manufacturing, mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machines used to process and form plastic materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot extrusion machines following production schedules

• Inspect products to ensure they meet customer and quality specifications

• Perform basic preventative maintenance and handle materials as needed

• Accurately track production data, including time and materials used

• Identify and correct process errors to reduce scrap and downtime

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Collaborate with Engineers and team members on special projects and continuous improvement efforts

• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator or extrusion experience preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities

• Basic math and computer skills

• Good attention to detail and quality standards

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset
