POSITION – Quality Inspector
JOB LOCATION – Pewaukee, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st shift, 5am to 3pm
STARTING PAY – Depends on Experience, $22 to 25
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 3 plus years of experience
Responsibilities
- Conducted inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Utilized measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures to verify part dimensions
- Read and interpreted blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Documented inspection results and maintained accurate records in quality logs and reports
- Identified non-conforming materials or products and initiated corrective actions or rework procedures
Ability to learn and apply the following technical skills is needed to successfully complete the requirements of this position:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or technical degree preferred
- 1 to 3 plus years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and inspection procedures
- Proficient in using measuring instruments as in calipers, micrometers, height gauges, tape measures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards
