Position: Stock Room Associate – Electronics Assembly
Location: Burnsville
Shift: 1st Shift, 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Room Associate to support our electronics assembly operations. This position is responsible for accurately picking and kitting electronic components and materials for production, maintaining stock room organization, and ensuring timely delivery of kits to the production floor. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand/eye dexterity, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and kit components based on production work orders
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and labels for accuracy before kitting
- Deliver kitted materials to the production floor in a timely manner
- Perform inventory transactions accurately using inventory management software
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled stockroom shelves and bins
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with regular inventory audits
- Communicate shortages, discrepancies, or damaged parts to the supervisor immediately
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, labeling, and shelving incoming inventory
- Support general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or electronics environment preferred
- Familiarity with electronic components a plus
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, part numbers, and inventory labels
- Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small parts
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
Work Environment:
- Primarily indoors in a climate-controlled stock room and production area
- Exposure to small components, packaging materials, and moderate noise levels
