Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Assembler
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: Based on experience. $19 to $21 per hour.
Schedule: Full-time, first shift and second shift available.
Job Duties:
Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to instructions and drawings
Connect wires, cables, and tubes, including wire harness assembly
Perform soldering and other component installation tasks as required
Inspect assemblies and perform tests to ensure they meet quality standards
Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues and resolve problems during assembly
Read and follow schematics, blueprints, and detailed assembly instructions
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Organize, receive, and handle components, including assisting with kitting services
Work independently and as part of a team while maintaining a clean and safe workspace
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience with wire harness assembly, soldering, and electromechanical components preferred
Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions
Strong technical focus and attention to detail
Comfortable working with small parts and performing precise assembly tasks
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and good eyesight
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
Effective verbal and written communication skills
