Position – Punch Press Operator
Job Location – Woodville, WI
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Shift – 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Friday, 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
Starting Pay – $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Required Education – High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience – Prior manufacturing experience preferred; willing to train motivated candidates

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work while keeping production running efficiently and safely. You’ll operate punch press equipment, verify part specifications, and help keep the shop organized and productive.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate punch press or blanking machines to produce parts according to job specifications

• Load materials, align dies, and monitor press operation to ensure consistent output

• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools

• Adjust machine settings and perform minor troubleshooting as needed

• Maintain accurate part counts and production records

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

• Assist with general housekeeping and machine maintenance to keep work areas clean and efficient

Qualifications

• Basic math and mechanical aptitude required

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, or blueprints

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

• Reliable and safety-conscious work ethic

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Previous experience operating punch press or similar equipment a plus, but not required
