POSITION – CNC Machine Operator I
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift (4:30pm-3:00am, Mon-Thurs)
STARTING PAY – Up to $20+/hour based on experience

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1 to 3 years related experience in a metal fabrication setting; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Machine Operator I will operate machines in accordance with program and product specifications to manufacture small to medium-sized components, either as finished products or as parts to be assembled into larger products.
Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies
-
Position parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devices
-
Operate hand tools, electrical tools, and pneumatic tools as required
-
Safely operate lift equipment when needed to move materials or parts
-
Perform inspections using precision measuring tools to verify product accuracy

Conduct batch inspections and complete required documentation accurately

Report defective materials, process malfunctions, or nonconforming products to the Department Lead

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition

Adhere to all company safety procedures and prescribed regulations

Complete all required production paperwork and inspection records in a timely manner
Qualifications
-
Experience operating CNC machines in a production environment preferred
-
Ability to use a variety of hand tools and demonstrate an understanding of basic mechanical processes

Basic knowledge of electronics and hydraulics a plus

Strong math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance/repair manuals, and procedure manuals

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
