Position – Yard Clerk
Job Location – Eau Claire, WI
Starting Date – Immediately
Employment Term – Direct Hire Career
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – Days, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (8–10 hour shifts, occasional weekends as needed)
Starting Pay – $21 to $23 per hour

Required Education – High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Required Experience – Prior experience with forklifts and heavy machinery is a plus, but not required (training available)

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and sort inbound material, including identification of non-ferrous metals

• Operate forklifts, bobcats, alligator shears, and hydraulic balers

• Safely package, move, and process scrap materials

• Communicate respectfully with customers and vendors

• Maintain general housekeeping and adhere to safety protocols

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds solo, and up to 100+ pounds with a teammate

• Friendly, dependable, and quick to learn technical skills

• Mechanical knowledge and CDL are assets, but not required
