Position – Quality Technician
Job Location – Ripon, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (7:00pm-7:00am)
Starting Pay – $22-$26 based on experience.

As a Quality Technician, you will be a critical part of the operation, responsible for ensuring that all products meet the strict quality and food safety standards. You'll work closely with the production and management teams, troubleshooting issues and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, including dimensional, weight, moisture, and sensory testing.
Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the production facility.
Accurately document and maintain all quality records, test results, and non-conformance reports.
Identify, investigate, and document root causes for quality deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory and testing equipment.
Support internal and external audits (e.g., HACCP, SQF, BRC) to ensure compliance with all regulatory and certification requirements.
Train production personnel on quality procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
Solid knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
Proficiency in using quality testing instruments and performing basic lab analyses.
Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
A relevant associate's degree or professional certification is a plus.
